As it is defined, the war is a conflict between states in the form of combat between their respective Armed Forces. According to von Clausewitz, "war is a continuation of diplomacy by other means". The main instrument of achieving the goals of war is an organized armed combat; however, economic, diplomatic, propaganda, media, and other resources also play a vital part. By this definition, war is an organized armed violence that aims to achieve certain political goals.
Here, on Tsushima, we will attempt to paint as full a picture of the major wars as is possible, while minimizing the dry textbook descriptions, but at the same time providing our visitors with a rich picture gallery, documents of the era and first-hand account.
