On 9 June 1944, started against the Finnish Positions on the Karelian Isthmus, the soviet Operation Wiborg-Petrozavodsk of the Leningrad Front. To prevent troops on the islands in Björkö Sund, undertook Finishand German naval forces on 19 June attacks against enemy landing forces. Involved thereby also the German fleet torpedo boats T 30 and T 31. At a first skirmish with the enemy came to 22.37 clock. Successfully managed to repel the landing attempt. At midnight, grabbed a swarm Soviet Torpedoboatsats and achieved to 00.02 clock a torpedo hit on T 31. The boat broke apart and sank. It was published in 50 copies, which our colleague, Klaus F. gave their own expense. In Poland, only an abbreviated version appeared in the pages of Battleships in two parts, 104 and 105.[/b]
