Дивлюсь на эту посудину и не могу понять - а к какому классу она относилась?

1205. Well known later as the vessel on which the Japanese surrender at Koepang, Timor was signed on Sept. 11, 1945, HMS Moresby [the former RN WW1 convoy escort sloop HMS Silvio] is seen here in her between the wars role as a survey vessel in northern Austrealia.
Although not evident here, from memory the 1,320 ton Moresby was one of the first RAN survey vessels to carry an aircraft - perhaps during an earlier phase of duty in the mid 1920s. EDIT. It was sloop HMAS Geranium that carried an aircraft for early survey work.
In 1929, with the onset of the Depression, HMS Moresby had been laid up, but was brought back into service for more Barrief Reef surveys in April 1933. In 1935 she was converted to oil burning, and she would serve as both an escort vessel and survey vessel during WW11.

Ships of the 19th Century Russian Scares: Torpedo gunboat HMS Boomerang in Sydney Harbour - Photo A.C. Green Collection, SLV/AWM.2811. HMS Boomerang was a Sharpshooter Class torpedo gunboat launched on July 24, 1889, as HMS Whiting. Built by Armstrong Mitchell at Elswick, the ship displaced 735 tons, and carried two 4.7-inch [120mm] QF guns, four 3-pounders and five 14-inch [360mm] torpedo tubes. They had a speed of 19 knots and a complement of 91 men.We had an interesting view of HMS Boomerang at the departure of Duke and Duchess of York during Australia's Federation celebrations in 1901 at pic NO 671. That's here:
1466. The colonial Queensland 1884 flat iron gunboat Paluma’s great claim to fame came with the great Brisbane River flood of February 12, 1893, when she was washed up on the banks of the Brisbane Botanical Gardens and left stranded there when the waters receded. Other vessels suffered the same fate, but only Paluma’s ‘beaching’ is remembered. Queensland authorities were still scratching their heads over the problem when they had a lucky break: another great flood came along a week or so later and refloated her, allowing the tug Advance to chug up and pull her clear. Photo: Hume Collection, State Library of Queensland [John Oxley Library], the image is out of copyright, and was the subject of a public release in 2008-09. It is perhaps the clearest among many photos of this event.
