In which context UJ.2305 is mentioned? She was surely part of the convoy, but i cannot undestand why UJ.2304 is named in the ultra report of sinking the tka.
I could re-read around these pages and try to see iff also UJ.2304 was sailing that night (maybe indipendently?)

Greetings, i know that Morozov doesn't reply anymore on the site but maybe he will check or someone may be interested,
Recently i came across some online works of Italian author F. Mattesini (see my recent post on the Moltov's torpedoing).
While personally i find his works to be soaked in political under-tone (pro-fascist leaning as most of the Italian military authors), he's undoubtedly much more accurate and documented than previous italian works.


I've come across an interesting detail over the Soviet raid in Yalta on 19 June 1942: while we already know that the two midgt-submarines CB-2 and CB-3 suffered damage for the previous Pe-2 bombers raid, he also mentioned the raid of the D-3 and SM-3 motor torpedo boats, indicating that CB-3 suffered a splinter hit in the underside from a torpedo detonation after the TKA attack. Probably he read an Italian damage report about it, while it's too little to even considering it an addition to the TKA successes (it seems that the real damage that required repair was done by the aircrafts), could be something worth to mention in the history of this interesting pair of TKA.

Простите, а разве немецкий минзаг "Кенигин Луизе" не был уничтожением миной, выставленной советскими ТКА, о чем говорилось в одной из статей журнала Гангут за 2008 год под авторством Морозова М. Э.?

Greetings, lots of time i don't check the site (again likely after Morozov left and busy time). However ages ago (but after 2008) Morozov revised it as loss by MO-4's boats field (laid by MO-206, MO-210, MO-211, MO-227, MO-232 and MO-252).
